How to transition to a coworking space post-pandemic

After working from home for the better part of a year, some are looking to transition back into a regular office setting. Coworking is still a fairly new concept but might very well be the future of working. If you are looking to work somewhere outside your house but don’t love the typical office set up, we would strongly encourage you to try coworking!

Here are some ways to transition from working at home to a coworking space.

Introduce yourself to those around you

This may sound self explanatory but one of the reasons to getting out of house to work is to interact with others, first impressions count and you want to make sure that you work well with others around you!

At TableSpace we try to really build a community between our members. With workshops, networking events and our open concept work space we hope that our members can interact with each other and build relationships.

Make your area feel like home

Make yourself comfortable where you’ll work. Bring your favourite mug from home or your computer stand so you can be as efficient as possible.

At TableSpace you can rent one of our dedicated desks which allows you to leave all your belongings overnight and truly make it your own.

If you have a private office you have full creative freedom to decorate it to make it feel as home-y as you’d like!

Set up a routine

Your routine can start the night before you leave for work. Pack your bag to make sure you bring your charger, lunch, headphones and anything else you need to make sure your day can be as productive as possible.

Once you get to your space you can establish a routine of setting up, touching base with the people you work with and grabbing any snacks or drinks you need!

The benefits of transitioning into a coworking space instead of a typical office after the pandemic are huge. It allows for more interactions with others, they foster creativity and have more flexibility in terms of workspace and time spent in the space!
