StartUp Series Recap

After four months of running the StartUp Series, we are sad to announce that we will be concluding them this month. This series has been everything to us; with the opening of businesses again, events are starting up, and people are slowly getting back into a routine; we have loved hosting every one of you at these events!

With this said, TableSpace Coworking has some bigger and better things planned that will be similar to the StartUp Series event! Although this is still in the planning phases, be sure to keep on the lookout for this information when it becomes available.

Now, as a way of ending these StartUp Series events, we thought it would be the perfect ending by sharing some of our favorite takeaways from these events! Each of these takeaways comes from our incredible speakers, which we will list and tag below for you to find.

They are one of a kind people, be sure to check them out!

Takeaway #1: Whatever you do in life, give it 100%

Every day, we face challenges, whether it be in business, life, a pandemic, or something else. In meeting these challenges, we always have one choice to make when it comes down to it. Do we give it 100% and face the challenge? Or do we walk away and avoid it at all costs? In hosting each of our guest speakers, a common theme across them all was to give a 100% even if you are scared, unsure, or not confident. More often than not, if you provide 100% in whatever you do, you will feel that much better about yourself while also learning something about yourself along the way!

Takeaway #2: Be passionate about what you do!

Each day we wake up, work, and strive to achieve our goals. In achieving these goals, what we took away from this StartUp Series was the importance of being passionate about what you are doing. If you don’t have passion for what you are doing, you are doing it for no reason. When you have a love for something, you will realize quickly that it will fuel you with new ideas, you will be excited about new opportunities in your life, and you will be willing to take on any challenge, no matter how big or small, it is!

Takeaway #3: Stand up for what you believe in!

Many people have thoughts, opinions, or take on something throughout the business world. Although these opinions might be valid, all through this StartUp Series, we have heard countless stories about standing up for what you think is right and for what you deserve. Whether you are female, male, Indigenous, LGTBQ2+, black, or other religions, standing up for what you deserve is critical in business because your thoughts ultimately matter!

To officially close out this Startup Series, we would love to give a HUGE thank you to all of our speakers from the past four months!
